Terms of service

savara is a web application that helps you prepare resumes, find job listings, draft application materials and track applications. These terms of service (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the operator of savara ("savara", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our privacy policy, cookie policy and refund policy form part of these Terms.

• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to create an account.
• You must provide a working email address and keep it up to date. We use it for verification, password recovery and service notices.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

savara provides tools, not outcomes. We do not act as a recruiter or employment agency, we do not submit applications on your behalf, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers or any particular result from using the service. Decisions about what to apply for, what to send and what to say remain yours.

We may change, add or remove features at any time. Where a feature is described as "coming soon" or similar, it is not part of the service until it is released.

Some features use an artificial intelligence provider (currently Anthropic) to generate drafts such as cover letters, summaries, answers to application questions, resume bullet improvements, outreach messages and interview preparation material. These drafts are produced from the resume and job information you supply.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or expressed more confidently than the facts support. You must review and edit every draft before relying on it or sending it to anyone. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of anything you submit to an employer, including content that started as an AI draft. We do not warrant that AI output is free of errors or suitable for any particular purpose.

Job listings shown in savara are collected from public job boards, currently including Remotive, Arbeitnow, RemoteOK and Jobicy. Each listing identifies its source and links to the original posting. We do not create listings, we do not verify employers, and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of third-party postings. Listings may expire or change at the source without notice. Always confirm the details on the original posting before applying.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create in savara, including resumes, notes and application materials ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you, including sending relevant parts of it to our AI provider when you request a draft. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for Your Content. You must have the right to upload it and it must not be unlawful, defamatory, infringing or misleading.

• Do not use the service to misrepresent your identity, qualifications or experience to employers.
• Do not use outreach features to send unsolicited bulk messages, harass anyone or contact people who have asked not to be contacted.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data, bypass plan limits, probe or disrupt our systems, or scrape the service.
• Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
• Do not resell or sublicense the service, or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD; local pricing and applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by our payment processor through its hosted checkout. savara does not receive or store your full card details. By purchasing a plan you also agree to the processor's terms for the processing of your payment. Paid features are activated only after we have verified payment through the processor's server-side notifications, not on the basis of a browser redirect.

Plan limits (for example the number of resumes or AI drafts per month) are enforced on our servers. Usage allowances reset monthly and unused allowances do not roll over.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the billing page in your account. Access to paid features continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account returns to the Free plan. Refunds are handled as described in the refund policy.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including those on Your Content, liability and governing law) will do so.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that job listings are accurate or current, or that any application will succeed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, savara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, opportunities, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you have paid nothing, to zero. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email or through the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use savara after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and the courts of [Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
