Cookie policy

Only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Nothing for advertising or tracking.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads, such as the fact that you are signed in. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way and are covered by this policy too.

2. The cookies we use

savara uses strictly necessary cookies only. These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.

  • Authentication session cookies, set by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). They identify your signed-in session so that each request can be checked on the server. They are removed when you sign out and expire automatically after a period of inactivity.
  • Security cookies used to protect forms and account actions against cross-site request forgery.
  • Preference storage for small interface settings, such as a dismissed notice. These are stored locally in your browser and are not sent to us.

3. What we do not use

  • No advertising cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking or retargeting pixels.
  • No third-party analytics cookies that profile you across websites.
  • No social media tracking widgets.

Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.

4. Third-party checkout

When you upgrade to a paid plan you are taken to a checkout page hosted by our payment processor. The processor may set its own cookies on its domain to complete the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by the processor's privacy and cookie policies, not by this one.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Because savara relies on a session cookie to keep you signed in, blocking cookies for this site will prevent you from using your account. Signing out removes the session cookie.

6. Changes and contact

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. For questions, use the contact form. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see the privacy policy.
